The Indiana Arts Commission recently announced that Muncie is a finalist, along with Lafayette and Rising Sun, to host the Governor's Arts Award ceremony. Terry Whitt Bailey, Cornerstone Center for the Arts president and CEO, believes Muncie has the facilities and cultural life to host the biennial event.
